Participants will work on 3.5mm leather to learn the skills and have depth to work with. This is the thickness most used for leather quivers, so this is an opportunity to learn the craft that originated with the Moors in Spain.
For those that would like to carve geometric patterns or even apply calligraphy to leather quivers, book covers, belts and pouches this is an excellent opportunity to see what tools you will need to bring across the craft to your own projects.
For our young Onbeshlis, it is asked that a supervising parent or adult attend the class.
Silvia also has a small shop where you can purchase leather, materials and tools for a good price.
